About You

Do any of these situations sound familiar?

  • You are putting off an important initiative because you don’t have the time or resources to get it done right.

  • You are aware of inefficiencies in your business but lack the time to identify the root causes.

  • You understand the need for change but can’t seem to identify and execute the right initiatives to fix things in a sustainable manner.

  • Your people are your organization’s greatest asset but they often struggle to embrace the changes that you need to make.

  • You are flooded with data but struggle to understand what the data is telling you and what corrective actions you should take.

  • You believe that the organization is working on the right stuff but have fallen short on your results.

These are the very real business management issues that I am best suited to help address.

About Me

Organizations are being forced to change, to create new value and remain relevant.  Today's business environment places extraordinary demands on business leaders.  This includes demands for operational efficiency leaving few resources to complete even the most important strategic initiatives.  At times, critical outside resources are vital to successfully implement change.

I believe that every client is unique and require specifically-tailored solutions.  Creating value on behalf of my clients is my only true measure of success.

As Kuapā Consulting, I bring more than 35 years of Finance, HR, IT and strategic consulting experience to the islands.  I have worked inside both small businesses and Fortune 500 organizations.  Since moving to Hawaii in 2013, I have worked as a senior manager and strategist for a local manufacturer and retailer, as a project consultant on an enterprise resource planning system implementation, and as the Director of Innovation for a local Human Resource technology consulting business. Kuapā Consulting allows me to marry my consulting background with a desire to plan and execute transformational initiatives in a special, local way.  I take great pride in my ability to adapt to my client’s needs and culture, having consulted with hundreds of organizations.

About The Name

Kuapā is the Hawaiian name for a seawall built across the opening of a natural embayment to form a fishpond.  The area of east Oahu that is now the Hawaii Kai Marina was originally Kuapā Pond.
